Australien und Österreich kein Vorbild für Deutschland – ADAC fordert statt Preisregulierung die Stärkung des Wettbewerbs

Ein BildDer ADAC lehnt Preisregulierungsmodelle auf dem deutschen Kraftstoffmarkt weiter ab. Wie die Beispiele aus Österreich oder West-Australien zeigen, können staatliche Eingriffe in die freie Preisbildung sogar zu Preissteigerungen an den Zapfsäulen führen. Der Club fordert vielmehr eine Stärkung des Wettbewerbs und eine größere Transparenz für die Verbraucher. „Es ist von größter Bedeutung, dass sich die Autofahrer besser über die aktuellen Preise informieren können“, sagt ADAC Präsident Peter Meyer, „auch die Behinderungen der freien Tankstellen durch die großen Markenanbieter müssen unterbunden werden. Preisregulierungen bringen den Autofahrern insgesamt jedoch mehr Nach- als Vorteile.“ Vor diesem Hintergrund begrüßt der ADAC, dass sich der Bundesrat heute mit den möglichen Maßnahmen zur Stärkung des Kraftstoffmarktes befasst (Quelle: ADAC).
