Eingabefehler: Kunden jubeln über einen Spritpreis von nur 17 Rappen

Autofahrer in Schaan in Liechtenstein durften sich für 2 Stunden wie im Schlaraffenland fühlen. Eine Migrol-Tankstelle verschleuderte zumindest für 2 Stunden ihren Treibstoff für einen Bruchteil des „Normalpreises“,  für ca. 17 Rappen je Liter nämlich. Damit möglichst viele Freunde, Verwandte und Bekannte ebenfalls an diesem „Konsumentenglück“ teilhaben durften, war an der Tankstelle reges Telefonieren mit dem Handy zu beobachten. Lange Schlangen vor den Zapfsäulen der Tankstelle waren die Folge. Handelte es sich bei dieser Aktion um einen Werbegag der Tankstellengesellschaft, oder gab es einen spendierfreudigen Sponsor, der die „Zeche“ übernahm? Nein, zum Leidwesen des Tankstellenbetreibers leider nicht! Menschliches Versagen war die Ursache des Geschehens, das in der Kasse der Tankstelle einen vierstelligen Minusbetrag hinterließ. Beim Eintippen des neuen Preises hatte sich die Tankstellenkraft am Computer um eine Kommastelle vertan, so dass aus den geforderten1,72 Franken plötzlich nur 0,17 Franken wurden. Der Fehler wurde erst nach etwa Stunden bemerkt und korrigiert.
